Richard is thrilled to on the Arts Alive SDSU crew as the Logistics Lead. He is currently working on his Master’s in the Theatre Arts and will be graduating in Spring 2020. He received his undergrad from Cal State Northridge with a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts and a minor in Creative Writing in Fall of 2017. After he graduates from SDSU, he plans to return to
campus to work on a credential program in English. His future career goals include becoming a High School Drama and English teacher for Juniors and Seniors. He also wants to teach theatre history and movement at a community college. Whether he plans to work all the way to PhD is a question for later. His emphasis is in teaching education and performance. While he loves being on stage and working on short films, he also loves to experiment with lessons to teach in a classroom. His favorite playwrights are Shakespeare and Oscar Wilde. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, hiking or traveling to new locations. He also likes to work on his creative writing stories when he has free time. Something he enjoys about Arts Alive is that he can help teach students what it is. He couldn’t think of a better team to work under.
