SDSU Open Studios
Open Studios is an annual school-wide open house for SDSU’s current and prospective students and their families, high school and community college students, local artists, community members, and SDSU faculty and staff. This lively event, which draws approximately 200+ people every year, includes art exhibitions and art demonstrations, studio, gallery, and classroom tours, and music and food.
SDSU’s School of Art + Design for Open Studios takes place on Friday, April 12, 2019, from 4:00 – 7:30 p.m.
Open Studios is a great way to become acquainted or reacquainted with the School of Art + Design and all the exciting things we create! Classrooms, labs, studios, and galleries will be filled with art and open for viewing. Students and faculty will be on hand to show their work, demonstrate art processes, answer questions, and provide tours. Check out art and design demos, enjoy some delicious Thai and Brazilian food (for purchase) from one of our Farmer’s Market vendors, listen to live music by local 80’s cover band, Resurrection Radio, and shop our ceramics sale. … Plus SWAG! Open Studios is free and open to the public (kids are welcome too!)
