2023-2024 Academic Year
The 2023–2024 season of the Arts Alive SDSU Discovery Series showcases seven events produced by the School of Art and Design, the School of Music and Dance, and the School of Theatre, Television, and Film. These events are based in the university curriculum, feature the work of student artists, and each production addresses a sociopolitical or cultural theme relevant to a larger dialogue taking place on campus or in the community. In addition to the art events, which are open to the public, Discovery Series projects include interdisciplinary forums with representatives from the arts, humanities, and sciences. With support from Arts Alive SDSU, visiting guest artists will also work with faculty and students from multiple academic units to situate the arts event into a broader spectrum of the curriculum and campus life.
